Terms of Service
Last updated: March 24, 2026
1. License Agreement
By purchasing and downloading DrDebug, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the plugin within your Unreal Engine projects. The specific terms of your license (e.g., Individual/Indie, Per-Seat, or Studio-Wide Enterprise) are dictated by the specific tier purchased via Gumroad or the Unreal Engine Marketplace.
2. Usage Restrictions
You may not redistribute, resell, lease, sub-license, or publicly share the DrDebug plugin, its source code, or its compiled binaries. This includes uploading the source code to public repositories (e.g., public GitHub). The plugin is strictly intended for your personal use or internal studio production use only.
3. Intellectual Property and Ownership
The purchase of a license grants you the right to use the software; it does not transfer ownership. All intellectual property rights, copyrights, and original source code pertaining to DrDebug remain the sole and exclusive property of Abderrezak Bouheda. The complete development lifecycle of DrDebug is backed by a comprehensive, time-stamped, and cryptographically verifiable private GitHub commit history dating back to the project's inception. This constitutes indisputable, unassailable proof of original authorship. Any individual, studio, or corporate entity attempting to misappropriate, plagiarize, repackage, or fraudulently claim ownership of this architecture will face immediate and aggressive legal action. This audit trail will be utilized to the fullest extent of international copyright law to pursue maximum damages and permanently shut down any infringing projects, products, or marketplace accounts.
4. Updates and Support
Your license entitles you to access updates and bug fixes for the major Unreal Engine versions officially supported at the time of your purchase. Support is provided via email and is offered on a reasonable-effort basis. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue support for older versions of Unreal Engine as the software evolves.
5. Refund Policy
Due to the digital, downloadable nature of the software and the inclusion of full C++ source code, all sales are generally considered final. Refunds will only be evaluated on a strict, case-by-case basis (e.g., accidental duplicate purchases) at the sole discretion of the author.
6. Limitation of Liability
DrDebug is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the author or copyright holder be liable for any claim, damages, lost profits, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.
