Decal Debug safely isolates your environment from decals. Since Unreal removed the Decal Mask Buffer, DrDebug uses a custom C++ subsystem to hijack and read the true DBuffer values.It's completely seamless. If you drag and drop a new asset into the level while in this mode, it automatically blacks out

The Tangent Space switch isolates the DBuffer Normal Map from the underlying mesh normal. This makes it easy to spot issues specific to your decal. Use the Contrast slider to clarify the normal map, which is especially useful for fading translucent masks
