1.0 What It Actually Does
RGB Waveform is an analysis scope used in color grading to display the intensity of red, green, and blue color channels. It helps analyze color balance, white balance, and exposure across highlights, mid-tones, and shadows to ensure accurate, consistent, or stylized footage, same as in Premier Pro or Davinci Resolve, BUT, this is directly, live, in realtime, on your viewport.
Highly optimized C++ implementation ensures zero frame drops, even when analyzing dense 4K scenes. Below is a Pin Mode, this allows you to see the wave form on the top right of the screen, mapping the whole Render result into RGB Waveform, you can control Resolution of the Waveform, low resolution works well for noisy scenes if you want to get an average reading.
